200 NICKEL SHEETS, NICKEL ALLOY 200 PLATES & ALLOY 200 COILS

Nippon International is one of the prominent trader and supplier of Nickel 200 Sheets , which is commercially pure wrought nickel and is normally limited to service at temperatures below 600 Degree F. At higher temperatures Nickel products can suffer from graphitization which can result in severely compromised properties. All hot working and cold working practices can be utilized when shaping Nickel 200 Plates, which are offered by Nippon International.

Hot working temperatures should be between 1200 Degree F and 2250 Degree F with heavy forming to be performed at temperatures above 1600 Degree F, where furthermore, annealing should be performed at a temperature between 1300 Degree F and 1600 Degree F. The lower carbon content of Alloy 200 Sheets from Nippon International makes the material resistant to graphitization and therefore less subject to embrittlement.

Care should be taken when choosing the anneal temperature and time at temperature for this can greatly influence the mechanical properties and structure of the material. Alloy 200 Plates offered by Nippon International are approved for construction of pressure vessels and components under ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Division 1. When operating temperatures are expected to exceed 600 Degree F, carbon content becomes critical.
